Documenting public infrastructure assets is critical for a variety of reasons including FEMA Public Assistance grant requests, resiliency scoring such as Community Rating System, and maintenance documentation.   The asset module allows documentation of both roads and structures.  Structures, such as a culvert or ditch, can be associated with a road.  Grant project sites can be associated to pre-existing or new structures.
